Get your festival or event listed on Fáilte Ireland’s consumer websites

Whether you're creating a new listing or updating an existing one, you'll find everything you need to showcase your event effectively and keep visitors informed.

Prepare your listing

Give visitors the information they need to decide, plan and attend. Include:  

• A high-quality landscape image  
• A short event summary
• A description of what visitors can expect 
• Dates, times and location
• Contact details and website address  
• Booking or ticket information, where relevant  
• Practical information to help visitors plan their trip

Use clear language. Avoid jargon, broad claims and internal terms. Before submitting your listing, check that visitors can easily understand what the event is, where it takes place, when it happens and how to book or attend.

Submit your event

Register your festival or event through the Events Portal. You’ll be asked to provide key information, including event details, images, contact information and booking information.  

Before we can can process your application, you must read and accept the Terms & Conditions.  

All event submissions are reviewed before publication. Fáilte Ireland reserves the right to update or refine the information provided to ensure listings are clear, consistent and useful for visitors.  

Update or improve your listing

If any event details change, update your listing as soon as possible. Review dates, times, locations, booking links, images, contact details and website information regularly.

Keeping your listing up to date helps visitors plan with confidence and ensures your event makes the most of its visibility across our consumer websites.  

Before you submit

The Contributor Agreement explains how Fáilte Ireland can use your content on websites and in marketing material. Before submitting:

• Make sure your information is accurate
• Ensure you have permission to use all images, videos and text
• Confirm your event meets all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
